Graduate Student Affairs - The central mission of the Office of Graduate Student Affairs is to enhance the quality of graduate student life by working closely with individual students, student organizations, faculty and other campus offices. The aim is to provide a broad array of programs on issues related to graduate student life such as health, safety, housing, mentoring and professional development.
Graduate Studies Student Government - The Graduate and Professional Student Government advocates for the needs of all graduate and professional students and seeks to build community among this diverse population.
International Student Resources
Duke International Student Center (DISC) - DISC assists international students, scholars, and their families with orientation and acclimation. The staff enhance cross-cultural interaction through programming and community outreach, and provide advocacy and support for the Duke international community.
Duke Visa Services - The Visa Services office determines the visa and employment options for international students, scholars, visitors, and employees, which will permit the greatest benefit and flexibility to Duke and to the individual. They work with federal and state government agencies, international organizations, and public and private entities to obtain appropriate visa documentation for admission to the U.S., authorization for employment, and maintenance of legal status for Duke's international population.
