APSI's summer book club is back by popular demand. This year, Professor Eileen Chow begins our three-book sequence with Fuschia Dunlop's Invitation to a Banquet: The Story of Chinese Food, a book the New York Times called "a cultural investigation of an impossibly broad and often misunderstood cuisine." Dunlop, a Cambridge-educated English writer and cook, has spent more than 30 years learning about Chinese food, and her journey and discoveries are contained in this volume.
