Statement of Purpose Writing Workshop

This specialized statement of purpose writing workshop, led by Professor Charlotte Asmuth of the Writing Center, is open to master's students in the East Asian Studies and Critical Asian & Middle Eastern Humanities programs.

The primary audience is 2nd–year students who are applying for PhD programs this year. First-year MA students are also able to attend.

This session was arranged by Carlos Rojas, Professor of Chinese Cultural Studies and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. It is part of an ongoing series of workshops supporting MA students' professional and academic development in East Asian Studies as well as the humanities and social sciences.
