Congratulations, EAS-MA Graduates!

Eleven graduating Master of Arts in East Asian Studies students received their diplomas on Friday, May 11, 2018, at a ceremony in the John Hope Franklin Center. Joined by friends and family as well as many of their faculty, this dynamic group came together to bid one another a fond farewell after two years of diligent study.

Several graduates will matriculate this fall into PhD programs at Cornell University, the University of California - Irvine, the University of California - San Diego, and the University of Minnesota (among others). Others are taking up jobs in China, South Korea, and the U.S.; within this group, a few will apply to graduate programs and pursue further academic opportunities.
