Lingxiang Sun

My name is Lingxiang Sun. I received my B.A. in history and sociology at Nankai University and my MSc in New Media at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During undergraduate studies, my research interests centered on daily life in modern China, especially women's lives and emotions. After my study in communication at CUHK, my focus switched to contemporary topics, more specifically, social media and feminist activism in China, as well as popular culture and fan culture. I hope my research will serve as comfort or reconciliation and help to foster mutual support and consensus within the female community, advocating for their rightful entitlements. Outside school, I love photography, painting, and enjoying K-pop concerts.
