Renate Kwon

Communications coordinator

Renate serves as communications coordinator for APSI. In this capacity, she develops and maintains websites and social media, publishes APSI's newsletter and annual report, plans conferences and supports events (online as well as in person), publicizes events and opportunities, and promotes interdisciplinary programs focused on the Asian region. Previously, she also served as program manager for the Southeast Asia Research Group (SEAREG).

She has a master’s degree in Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego’s School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (now the School of Global Policy and Strategy).

Renate is proficient in German with intermediate Korean ability and has also studied Japanese and French.
