About the cluster:

The East Asian language pedagogy research cluster has been actively promoting the interaction and cooperation on research, pedagogic and administrative issues among the East-Asian language instructors at AMES and other language faculty at Duke and in the Triangle.

Our group purports to:

  • Encourage research and innovations in teaching by the members and provide a forum to present them;
  • Help the language faculty to keep abreast of the recent developments and current trends in the field of language teaching; and
  • Facilitate professional communications between the East Asian and other language instructors at Duke and in the Triangle
