Duke Study in China
This intensive, immersion-based language program provides the equivalent of one year of language study in 8 weeks. The program also offers competitive internship placements in Beijing as part of the 10-week Business Track option. All students enhance not only their language skills but also deepen their understanding of cotemporary China. The program is open to both Duke students and those at other colleges and universities.
Duke Study in China is one of the longest-running credit-granting study abroad programs in China, founded in 1982 and boasting an alumni network of over 1,500 members. In the fall of 2020, DSIC held a virtual alumni reunion featuring a keynote speaker and all-star alumni panel representing four decades of the program. Graduates of DSIC are warmly welcomed to this unique network of global professionals.
